Veterans Day (November 11) celebrates the service of all U.S. military Veterans.

Posted on Updated on

Our nation marks Veteran’s Day this Sunday, November 11th, we honor those who have served our country in the line of duty to their country and sacrificed so much for all of us.

SINCE THE FOUNDING OF OUR NATION, BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN OF THE UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES HAVE RISKED AND SACRIFICED MUCH TO SECURE PEACE AND PROSPERITY FOR THEIR FELLOW AMERICANS.

Veterans Day was initially established by President Wilson after the end of World War I, to honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country, willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. This sentiment seems especially poignant these days, as increasing numbers of veterans enter the slow civilian job market. Many more will soon return from duty overseas, many with war injuries that brought their military careers to a premature end.

May we all take a moment and reflect and if you know a Veteran and/or see someone in uniform say thanks!
